BIO-key CEO to Speak at Imperial Capital Investor Conference

BIO-key Chairman and CEO Michael DePasquale will be speaking at the Imperial Capital Security Investor Conference in December. Now in its 17th year, the annual event is scheduled to run from December 2-3, with DePasquale presenting on December 2, at 12:30 pm ET.

The Investor Conference was set up to connect public and private security companies with potential investors. This year’s iteration will take place virtually due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, and will feature 500 investors and 70 security businesses.

BIO-key, of course, is an identity and access management specialist. The company has enjoyed recent success with its PortalGuard platform, which has rapidly gained traction with academic institutions, government agencies, and other organizations. PortalGuard is an authentication platform with Single Sign-on capabilities, and motivated BIO-key to hire a new VP of Product Marketing to drive the growth of its portfolio.

DePasquale, meanwhile, is making his second appearance at an investor conference in the past few months. The BIO-key CEO spoke at the LD Micro 500 Virtual Investor Conference in September, taking the (virtual) stage at an event that places a greater focus on the small and micro-cap investment ecosystem. He has also appeared at the Imperial Capital Security Conference in prior years.
