ImageWare has teamed up with banking digitization specialist Aurionpro, which will integrate its GoVerifyID biometric authentication platform into its Digital Branch DX — multi-service Kiosk.
It’s a move that could help GoVerifyID reach a number of new customers, with Aurionpro planning to offer the companies’ combined solution to its own customers. Aurionpro’s headquarters are split between San Ramon, California, and Mumbai, India, where biometric technology is booming in popularity thanks to that country’s Aadhaar national ID program; and Aurionpro says in total it has offices across 12 countries, suggesting a considerable global presence.
In a statement announcing the deal, Aurionpro COO Nirav Shah explained that the company is “redefining the customer experience by removing the friction points — paper, plastic and password across all deliver channels — mobile, web, and kiosks”; as such, ImageWare’s biometric solution “enables us to deliver amazing customer experience combined with simple, convenient and state of the art security controls for verification & authentication.”
Commenting on the partnership, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller said, “By combining ImageWare’s biometric authentication technology with Aurionpro’s industry-leading Branch DX product, we fulfill our joint mission of adding an extra layer of reliable and easy-to-use security, while enhancing an already outstanding user experience.”
The deal is also an opportunity for ImageWare to showcase the value of its SaaS model, with GoVerifyID now hosted on Amazon Web Services.
