Axiad has introduced Axiad Mesh, a new solution aimed at addressing identity risks at an enterprise scale. The system is designed to provide comprehensive visibility and management of identity risks across complex enterprise environments.
Axiad Mesh offers several key features and benefits. It connects SaaS and on-premises solutions to help companies discover, visualize, and observe the identities used throughout the enterprise. By using dynamic, machine learning-powered identity correlation across siloed systems, it provides a unified and actionable view of an organization’s identities. This approach allows for the detection of a wide range of identity risks that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
The solution also quantifies identity risks by assigning intuitive risk scores to highlight inconsistencies and vulnerabilities. It measures the true contribution of the attack surface by scoring severity, probability, and prevalence across the business. And it uses trends around attack surface changes to predict future risks.
To fortify identities against risk, Axiad Mesh improves pre-recognition of complex attack vectors using known frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK. It enhances identity hygiene by automatically detecting and flagging issues such as excessive permissions, weak or under-deployed multi-factor authentication (MFA), or inconsistent statuses. The solution supports automated workflows to remediate these risks without manual intervention, integrating with native remediation capabilities delivered by Axiad Conductor.
Axiad Conductor is a phishing-resistant authentication platform compliant with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This integration provides additional security assurance, meeting stringent security requirements of the public sector. Axiad Mesh also supports out-of-the-box connectors with a broad range of third-party solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID, Workday, SailPoint, and CrowdStrike.
“Most organizations today have a slew of technologies and an increasingly complex landscape of identities associated with humans and non-human entities alike,” said Alex Au Yeung, Axiad’s Chief Product Officer. “Any single entity can be associated with multiple identities—corporate-managed, privileged, shadow IT and even personal. Each poses a risk of compromise to an enterprise… Axiad Mesh solves the complexity surrounding identity security and illuminates identity risk potential, while operating within an organization’s existing identity ecosystem.”
The announcement comes at a time when digital identity management is a top priority for many organizations. According to a recent Identity Defined Security Alliance (IDSA) survey, digital identity management is now the top priority for more than 20 percent of companies and a top three priority for over half of all companies surveyed. Additionally, a staggering 93 percent of surveyed organizations reported multiple identity-related breaches last year, highlighting the urgent need for robust identity risk management solutions.
