Aware is hoping to draw more investors through a new partnership with Gateway Investor Relations. The advisory firm will be asked to set up Aware’s new investor relations program, and to refine the company’s messaging and communications strategy when reaching out to potential investors, stakeholders, and other noteworthy individuals.
Gateway will also work to facilitate some of those introductions. In that regard, the firm will leverage its expertise to secure Aware invitations to important stakeholder events and financial conferences.
“Our investments have strengthened our technological leadership position, expanded our customer and partner footprint, and established a growing subscription-based business,” said Aware President and CEO Bob Eckel. “Given these advancements, we believe the time is right to proactively communicate Aware’s successes. We are confident that Gateway will help the investment community understand how our technology is addressing real-world problems and helping our customers prevent fraud, lower corporate risk and better know their customer.”
Aware is best known for the Knomi authentication platform, which recently cleared the requirements for iBeta Level 1 and 2 Presentation Attack Detection certification. Knomi is now one of only a handful of solutions to pass the second level of the anti-spoofing evaluation.
In May, Aware upgraded Knomi to supplement the platform’s existing facial recognition technology with voice recognition capabilities. It later updated the on-device version of the platform, which is designed primarily for mobile onboarding procedures.
