“Aware noted that it plans to demonstrate its Knomi solution at the Connect:ID exhibition in Washington next week…”
Enterprise Security Magazine has named Aware, Inc. a “Top Ten Multifactor Authentication Solution Provider of 2018,” the latter has announced.
The recognition granted Aware a profile in the March edition of Enterprise Security Magazine. The profile focuses primarily on Knomi, Aware’s SDK package for multimodal mobile biometric authentication.
The system is designed to enable authentication of end users via behavioral biometrics, facial recognition, and voice recognition. With market interest in such mobile authentication solutions on the rise, Aware has shifted its overall business strategy to the promotion of Knomi.
In a statement announcing its ESM recognition, Aware noted that it plans to demonstrate its Knomi solution at the Connect:ID exhibition in Washington next week, with Marketing VP David Benini asserting that “[t]he security, processing power, and advanced sensors of today’s mobile phones make them the ideal enabling technology for more secure multifactor authentication using biometrics.”
News of the recognition comes alongside Aware’s publication of its Q1 results this week, as well as its announcement of a stock buyback program. The company’s management has reserved the right to purchase up to $10 million of its common stock going forward until December 31st of 2019, with 21,546,818 shares outstanding as of April 23rd.
