authID has announced the launch of its Identity Exchange (IDX) platform, designed to eliminate identity blind spots across large organizations while enabling secure, passwordless authentication. Unveiled in partnership with NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (NESIC), a subsidiary of NEC Corporation, the platform supports Zero Trust security models and aims to reduce fraud, compliance risks, and operational inefficiencies associated with legacy identity systems.
Passwordless Identity with Centralized Credential Management
The launch follows authID’s recent partnership with Prove to combat deepfake-driven identity fraud. IDX offers biometric-bound, passwordless credentials that are resistant to phishing and ensure only verified users gain system access. By linking credentials to an individual’s biometric data, the platform eliminates risks associated with shared passwords and unauthorized access attempts.
IDX also introduces centralized credential management across enterprise structures. Authorized personnel can use a single digital identity to access systems spanning multiple business units and subsidiaries. This capability allows security teams to standardize identity controls while simplifying onboarding and revocation workflows at scale.
“At authID, our mission is to solve pain points in today’s identity infrastructure, particularly those that continually expose large, complex organizations to breaches, fraud, operational friction, and unnecessary compliance risks,” said Rhon Daguro, CEO of authID.
Lifecycle Automation and Privacy-Focused Biometrics
Built for seamless integration into existing systems, IDX includes AI-powered identity lifecycle management that automates the full user journey—from onboarding and access provisioning to offboarding and credential revocation. It is designed to work alongside major platforms including Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Ping Identity, allowing organizations to modernize identity verification without disrupting current workflows. This complements authID’s existing integrations and extends its reach in the enterprise IAM space.
The platform also incorporates privacy-preserving biometrics, applying “privacy-by-design” principles to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations. By securely binding credentials to verified individuals, IDX helps remove ghost accounts, eliminate shared logins, and enforce stronger identity hygiene across distributed workforces. The system supports both employees and external contractors, offering a unified approach to identity security in hybrid organizations.
Through its strategic partnership with NESIC, authID aims to accelerate enterprise digital transformation in regions where biometric authentication is rapidly gaining adoption. IDX is positioned to serve high-growth sectors with scalable, AI-augmented identity verification that meets both operational and regulatory demands.
