authID has been added to Microsoft’s Entra Verified ID partner ecosystem as a certified identity verification partner, letting its biometric verification plug directly into Microsoft’s enterprise identity platform. The Denver-based company’s listing is corroborated by Microsoft’s own partner gallery, which shows authID among the Verified ID API-based integration partners.
Microsoft Entra is the identity and access management platform used by large numbers of enterprises to control how employees, customers, and partners sign in and prove who they are. Through Entra Verified ID, organizations can issue and accept verifiable credentials. authID says its certification means Microsoft vetted its biometric verification for security, interoperability, and compliance, and that the integration lets customers add its technology to existing Entra workflows, including Conditional Access policies and credential flows, without custom development.
The company positions its biometric checks at points such as onboarding, account recovery, and privileged access, where an organization needs to confirm that a digital identity belongs to a real, present person rather than a stolen credential or a deepfake. authID describes its platform as performing verification in under a second, storing no biometric data, and using liveness detection to confirm a live user. The certified integration is being taken to market with MajorKey Technologies, a Microsoft partner, through its IDProof+ offering built on authID’s technology.
authID framed the certification against a backdrop of rising identity fraud in hiring and onboarding. It cited U.S. Federal Trade Commission figures showing reported losses from job scams climbing from 90 million dollars in 2020 to more than 501 million dollars in 2024, and a Gartner projection that one in four candidate profiles globally could be fraudulent by 2028.
“Identity has become the new security perimeter, and verifying the real person behind every digital interaction is mission-critical,” said Rhon Daguro, CEO of authID.
The addition extends the roster of biometric vendors certified for the program, which counts IDEMIA among its launch partners, and follows authID’s push into enterprise identity workflows through integrations such as biometric verification for ServiceNow contact centers.
