“Over the course of Annie’s career, she has demonstrated acumen across all aspects of finance, particularly with software, subscription, and SaaS business models, where she has scaled teams and best practices in finance to support billions of dollars in rapid revenue growth at major corporations.” – Tom Thimot, CEO, authID.ai
authID.ai will soon be welcoming a new Chief Financial Officer. The company’s current CFO, Stuart Stoller, plans to enter retirement this summer, and authID.ai has now announced that Annie Pham will be his replacement.
Pham currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance for SonicWall, a San Jose-based IoT cybersecurity company. Before taking that position in mid-2017, Pham was the Corporate Controller for AppliedMicro, a role that she started in 2014. She has also held accounting roles with Avago Technologies (from 2008 to 2014) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (2007 to 2008), and auditing roles with Deloitte & Touche, KPMG Australia, Grant Thornton, and EY.
Pham will officially join authID.ai in June, and the company says that she will work closely with Stoller, who will remain in an advisory role.
Commenting on her appointment, authID.ai CEO Tom Thimot emphasized Pham’s track record in the financial organization of companies running business models similar to that of authID, and highlighted her experience in dealing with SEC filings – an important consideration in light of authID’s debut on the Nasdaq last summer.
“Over the course of Annie’s career, she has demonstrated acumen across all aspects of finance, particularly with software, subscription, and SaaS business models, where she has scaled teams and best practices in finance to support billions of dollars in rapid revenue growth at major corporations,” Thimot said. “Additionally, she brings broad experience in public company and SEC reporting, secondary offerings, and complex accounting transactions.”
Thimot also had some kind words for Stoller, who “provided invaluable contributions to shaping our mission and building the needed infrastructure to support our growth and in particular, our uplisting to Nasdaq in August 2021, as well as our recent raise of more than $22 million in funding.”
The announcement of Pham’s appointment comes after last week’s news that Joe Trelin, a former executive with the biometric passenger screening company CLEAR, had been appointed to authID’s Board of Directors. Both appointments are indicative of authID’s strong momentum as the company continues to benefit from the growing market interest in selfie-based identity verification solutions like that of authID’s platform.
