authID.ai Brings Verified to Auth0 Marketplace

Auth0 customers can now take advantage of authID.ai’s Verified CloudConnect solution. The two companies have announced that Verified has been added to the Auth0 Marketplace, which makes it easier for organizations using the Auth0 Identity Platform to integrate Verified into their existing authentication workflows.

In that regard, Verified is a selfie-based identity verification product that is designed to replace outdated authentication measures like one-time passwords and PIN codes. The solution runs in-browser and in the cloud, and is compatible with virtually any connected device that someone might use to log into a customer account or to access sensitive corporate resources.

With Verified, users are asked to take a selfie when they try to login using their regular Auth0 credentials. The platform utilizes liveness detection to make sure that the user is present for the interaction. The solution does not force the user to download a separate mobile app, nor does it require the purchase of any additional hardware as long as the device being used is equipped with a camera.

Images captured with Verified are encrypted, and are used for 1:1 user matching. authID.ai believes that the solution is well-suited to both enterprise and customer-facing applications.

authID.ai has previously provided Verified services for Hamilton Reserve Bank and CU NextGen. The company also started offering 14-day free trials of the Verified service in October. Auth0, meanwhile, has released a new passwordless login solution that takes advantage of device biometrics.
