AuthenticID is trying to make it easier for organizations to build custom identity verification workflows. To that end, the company has introduced a new Identity Microservices portfolio that gives clients access to a range of document verification and facial recognition tools.
Clients that adopt AuthenticID’s Identity Microservices will be able to mix and match those tools to create an identity application that meets the needs of their particular organization. Each of those features can be put together with a single line of code, which makes implementation relatively straightforward and allows organizations to get up and running with a new solution more quickly.
In terms of technology, the Identity Microservices portfolio is available through the AWS Lambda cloud, and exists as an on-demand solution that does not require a dedicated server. The platform can handle as many as one billion transactions on a daily basis, or up to 20,000 transactions at any given second thanks to proprietary Kubernetes architecture that was announced in mid-2021. As a result, the Identity Microservices give organizations the ability to scale to provide identity coverage for a massive number of end users, with AuthenticID indicating that the platform is especially well-suited to government applications.
“Our Identity Microservices are built for lightning-fast automated processing without ever saving data to disk, creating an optimum data privacy regulatory compliance and data security result,” said AuthenticID CEO Jeff Jani. “These services provide virtually unlimited auto scaling without human intervention, enabling our vision to support the highest volume identity use cases in the world.”
“Our ability to process complex Identity Decisioning transactions without humans is what sets us apart,” added AuthenticID CTO Richard Huber Jr. “This launch also advances our 2022 goal to operate one of the most highly sophisticated MLOps computer vision platforms in the world.”
Huber claimed that AuthenticID’s automated tools display minimal bias when making a decision. The company itself enjoyed record growth in 2021, and has kicked off 2022 with a new partnership with 1Kosmos.
