Auraya’s EVA Web Voice Biometric platform is now available through the Okta Integration Network. EVA was originally designed for Amazon Connect, and uses voice recognition to facilitate identity verification and access control applications.
This announcement will make the solution available to existing Okta customers, who will be able to find and activate EVA with a simple search. EVA Web is compatible with a variety of different web browsers, allowing users to log into websites and other applications with secure biometric authentication. In doing so, EVA can enable two-factor authentication without forcing users to answer security questions or refer to another device for a one-time passcode. EVA uses SAML to make it easier for Okta customers to integrate the solution into their own websites.
“Many organizations are adopting multi-factor authentication strategies to improve the security of customer data and protect their customers and their brand from fraudsters who attempt account takeover and other malicious attacks,” said Auraya President and Executive Director Paul Magee. “Voice biometrics enables customers to simply say the digits displayed on their screen to provide a secure yet convenient confirmation of identity. EVA web can be used in messaging and chat applications for secure and personalised self-service.”
Auraya released an updated version of the EVA platform earlier this month. Australia’s SuperChoice has since started using the solution for identity verification. Okta, meanwhile, recently helped several banks move forward with their digital transformations.
