AU10TIX has announced a major expansion into India with the establishment of a new operational hub in Bengaluru, marking a significant step in supporting India’s digital identity transformation journey.
The company’s strategic expansion aims to serve India’s 1.4 billion citizens with its AI-powered technology while enabling local businesses to expand globally through advanced identity verification solutions. AU10TIX’s technology can process more than 3,000 different types of identification documents across over 150 countries. This expansion comes at a particularly strategic time, as India continues to build upon its foundational Aadhaar digital identity system with additional technological innovations.
To lead this initiative, AU10TIX has appointed industry veteran Bhushan Sawant as Regional Director for India operations. Sawant, who previously held key positions at IDfy, CARD91, and Experian, will spearhead the integration of AU10TIX’s technologies within India’s unique identity ecosystem, with a particular focus on empowering both startups and established businesses in their global expansion efforts.
Dan Yerushalmi, CEO of AU10TIX, emphasized the company’s collaborative approach to entering the Indian market. “We’re not here to compete with local solutions, but to complement them,” he said. “We have the global expertise to help Indian businesses expand internationally, while we simultaneously learn from them and adapt to the local market needs.”
The expansion comes at a crucial time as India’s digital economy continues to grow rapidly, creating an increasing demand for robust identity verification solutions. The choice of Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, as the location for AU10TIX’s new operations center reflects the city’s strategic importance in the country’s digital transformation. AU10TIX’s AI-powered technology is expected to play a significant role in facilitating secure cross-border operations for Indian businesses, particularly in the APAC markets.
The establishment of AU10TIX’s Bengaluru operations represents a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy and is expected to contribute substantially to India’s ongoing digital transformation efforts. This expansion follows AU10TIX’s recent portfolio restructuring, which introduced four distinct product lines including its Identity Verification Suite, Serial Fraud Monitor, the AU10TIX Platform, and Reusable Digital ID.
