Asurity Expands NotaryCam Partnership to Deliver End-to-end eClose Workflow

Asurity has expanded its partnership with NotaryCam to deliver a fully digital mortgage closing workflow through Asurity’s Propel platform. The enhanced integration brings together document generation and execution with eNotarization through remote online notarization (RON), along with eNote and eVault capabilities, creating what the companies position as an end-to-end eClose stack.

The expanded integration is intended to streamline deployment for lenders seeking to scale digital closings by consolidating key steps within a single workflow. Through Propel, Asurity provides compliant mortgage document packages supported by state-aware compliance checks via its RegCheck capability. NotaryCam contributes eClosing services, including remote online notarization supported by identity verification as part of the notarization process.

NotaryCam’s nationwide network of remote online and mobile notaries forms a central component of the offering. Lenders can support multiple closing types, with notarizations completed either remotely or in person depending on regulatory requirements and borrower preferences. That flexibility reflects the need to accommodate varying state-level rules while maintaining a consistent digital experience.

Coordinating document preparation, notarization, and secure custody remains a complex undertaking in mortgage transactions, where auditability and identity checks are central to fraud mitigation and regulatory compliance. By integrating these components more tightly, the companies aim to reduce operational friction while preserving oversight and control.

Julia Sweeney, executive vice president of software products at Asurity, said the combined workflow is designed to help lenders modernize mortgage closings without sacrificing process integrity. Brian Webster, president of NotaryCam, said the companies are focused on delivering a scalable eClose option that integrates security and identity verification alongside notarization and document management.

The expansion reflects continued investment in digital closing infrastructure, where identity verification, remote notarization, and secure electronic document custody are increasingly treated as interconnected components rather than standalone tools. For digital identity and onboarding vendors serving financial services, integrated eClose environments also represent practical deployment contexts in which identity controls must operate consistently across jurisdictions and transaction types.
