“We believe in empowering individuals to create secure transactions and found that Acuant has the same mission with products to enable trust while keeping processes streamlined.” – Ryan Harris, CEO, Noodigs
An innovative new Acuant client is taking advantage of its AssureID identity verification platform.
Called Noodigs, the client is aiming to launch a digital platform that directly connects prospective home buyers with sellers, cutting out the middleman and modernizing the home buying process. To that end, it needs a reliable means of verifying the identities of its users, and that’s where Acuant’s AssureID comes in. The system leverages document reading and facial recognition to match a given user’s selfie to their official ID documents, allowing for a reliable means of identification that can be done entirely online.
Noodigs’ platform is “largely built on trust,” explained the company’s CEO Ryan Harris in a statement announcing the collaboration. “We believe in empowering individuals to create secure transactions and found that Acuant has the same mission with products to enable trust while keeping processes streamlined,” he said.
News of the integration comes just a few weeks after Experian’s announcement that it was integrating AssureID identity verification into its CrossCore anti-fraud platform, suggesting building momentum for Acuant’s solution. And if the Noodigs platform catches on in a big way in the real estate market, it could raise Acuant’s profile even higher.
