Today marks day one of the 2013 ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Chicago, and Morpho (Safran), who will be occupying booth 1516, opened the exhibition up with the launch of it’s MorphoAccess SIGMA Series fingerprint ID terminals.
Specifically made for access control and time and attendance purposes, the MorphoAccess SIGMA includes a touch screen interface for ease of use and customization. The fingerprint terminals, of course, are available in models for indoor or outdoor use – a must have feature for physical access and attendance tracking solutions.
This new series matches fingerprints on a one-to-many scale against its 100 thousand user database, and in addition has smartcard and NFC capabilities, features which are quickly starting to gain popularity now that smartphones are beginning to be considered as possible secure credentials.
MorphoAccess SIGMA is backwards compatible as well, allowing for it to integrate into not only existing Morpho infrastructure, but thanks to the acquisition of L-1 Identity Solutions (now MorphoTrust USA), legacy Bioscript systems as well.
