Tyco Security Products has announced that it is now offering MorphoAccess SIGMA Series fingerprint readers as well as the MorphoWave Tower to its lineup of security products. The products are now compatible with Tyco’s C-Cure 9000 security and event management platform.
In a statement announcing the new offerings, Tyco highlighted the sophistication of the technology, noting that the MorphoAccess SIGMA Series offers “fingerprint technology that is ranked the most accurate in the world” by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and meets the FBI’s PIV specifications. Tyco also emphasized that the readers are compatible with numerous major smart card technologies including iCLASS, MIFARE, DESFire, and NFC.
The MorphoWave Tower, meanwhile, brings contactless access control to the C-CURE 9000 platform. Designed to scan and match four fingerprints with the wave of a hand, the award-winning product is also PIV certified has been embraced by Visa for an experimental biometric payment concept.
Commenting on the product offerings, Tyco executive Jason Ouellette said they demonstrate “the high value that Tyco Security Products places on bringing cutting edge, high-performing innovations to our customers’ doorsteps.”
