OT-Morpho subsidiary MorphoTrust USA has announced that its IdentoGO service has now enrolled five million customers in TSA PreCheck, its biometric pre-screening program for US air travelers
The new milestone points to significant growth over the past year, with MorphoTrust having announced that it had reached two million registrants in January of 2016. It comes after the implementation of new initiatives to extend the program’s reach, including an expansion into concert and festival screening, and the deployment of a traveling enrollment RV to help raise public awareness about the program around the country.
The PreCheck program could make substantial further progress during this summer’s busy travel season; participants are entitled to expedited airport screening after they have registered their biometric credentials and biographic data. MorphoTrust says it has also taken a new approach in its advertising that focuses on the millennial demographic.
