“Transmit Security says the platform can support literally any authentication mechanism, from iris or voice recognition to device and location tracking…”
Transmit Security has launched a new mobile authentication platform that it says can enable organizations to “implement any form of identity verification, on any device, across all their customer/partner facing channels,” according to a statement announcing the platform.
Called the Transmit Security Platform, or Transmit SP, it’s aimed at taking care of the authentication needs of any given organization, allowing client companies to focus their resources elsewhere. Transmit Security says the platform can support literally any authentication mechanism, from iris or voice recognition to device and location tracking; and that it can support third-party device to enable such authentication, and can even automatically assess digital threats when connecting to a new device.
Transmit Security says its platform is the product of a $40 million “self-funded round of financing”. Transmit SP is available now for cloud-based, on-premise, or hybrid deployments.
