ImageWare has licensed its flagship biometric identity management platform, GoVerifyID, to Telos Corporation.
The licensing agreement covers GoVerifyID’s use both independently and with HPE Aruba ClearPass, a network access management system for which GoVerifyID support was added earlier this year, and of which Telos is a reseller. Telos will also offer the solution through Telos Ghost, its own cloud-based service enabling anonymous connectivity and voice and video calling; and on a SaaS model via Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In a statement announcing the agreement, Telos CEO John B. Wood called GoVerifyID “the most secure, flexible and scalable user biometric authentication solution on the market,” adding that offering the platform will help Telos to strengthen its position as an enterprise security solutions provider. It’s a win for ImageWare too, of course, with CEO Jim Miller highlighting Telos’ reach in “the DoD and intelligence community,” and asserting that by offering GoVerifyID through both AWS and Telos Ghost, Telos is helping GoVerifyID to reach “the broadest range of customers.”
