We’re finally here, on the verge of the largest mobile industry event in Asia, Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai. Along with our sister site, Mobile ID World, we will be bringing you event coverage throughout the week as Peter O’Neill, president of FindBiometrics and Mobile ID World, moderates two keynote sessions.
O’Neill will be moderating the Identity & Personalization session on Wednesday and the Cyber Security presentations and panel on Thursday.
“I am very excited about what is happening in the Biometrics and mobile Identity areas,” O’Neill said. “These are very important discussions that need to be held now to combat the growing cyber security threats and to address the opportunities that exist around mobility and IoT.”
The Identity & Personalisation keynote session will feature presentations from Hans Vestberg, President & CEO, Ericsson; Takashi Tanaka, President, KDDI; and Michael Foley, CEO, Telenor Pakistan. The next day’s session, simply titled Cyber Security, features a long list of industry leaders:
