Last week at FindBiometrics we continued to examine the results of our 14th annual Year in Review survey, looking into the state of liveness detection and the public perception of biometrics. The industry news, meanwhile, spanned a wide range of modalities and applications—from fingerprints to face recognition, and financial services to enterprise ID—while we geared up for this week’s Intersec conference.
Take a look back on last week’s top stories in global identity management:
Year in Review
We continued to unpack the results of our Year in Review survey last week. We focused on the state of liveness detection technology and how much our respondents believe it should be a priority moving forward in biometrics. Later in the week we saw near-unanimous agreement from our respondents that public perception plays a crucial role in biometrics, and we examined some of the major ways identity management made its way into public discussions in 2016. Stay with us throughout this week as we continue to delve into our Year in Review results. Keep checking back with our Dedicated Roundup so you don’t miss a thing.
