UK-based biometrics solutions provider ievo is celebrating another successful access control deployment.
The company’s technology has been adopted by Newcastle-based Connect Health Ltd., a healthcare firm specializing in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. The company recently relocated its headquarters to Quorum Business Park, which has prompted it to take action both to comply with fire regulations requiring accurate accounting of on-site personnel, and to protect a large staff—about a hundred people—who could be accessing the facility across a 12-hour day.
That’s where ievo’s fingerprint biometrics technology has come in. In a statement announcing the deployment, Connect Health Executive Chair Andrew Walton called ievo’s fingerprint readers “particularly impressive” compared to other solutions the company considered, and asserted that they were “very easy to integrate” into Connect Health’s existing security system. “We’ve been delighted with their performance since installation and the whole process has exceeded our expectations,” he added.
ievo has already built up considerable credibility in the UK through various construction site deployments of its biometric access control technology. Now, the success of its Connect Health project should help to raise its profile more broadly as organizations across a range of sectors increasingly consider biometric access control solutions.
