Oxford Computer Group to Offer Crossmatch Solutions to Microsoft Clients

Windows users will soon be able to use Crossmatch technology for biometric authentication on their devices.

The latter tech firm has announced that it has inked a reseller agreement with Oxford Computer Group.

The deal will see Oxford Computer Group offering Crossmatch fingerprint readers and its DigitalPersona Composite Authentication software to its Microsoft-based customers. The fingerprint readers could prove useful to end users working with Windows 10, given its embedded support for biometric authentication; meanwhile its DigitalPersona Composite Authentication platform’s Citrix-Ready certification will offer some extra appeal to enterprise sector clients.

In a statement, Oxford Computer Group West Region VP Andy Shell praised the Crossmatch technology for its compatibility with Microsoft’s cloud services and Active Directory, adding that it will offer advanced multi-factor authentication solutions to “[o]rganizations facing complex security challenges, such as those in the healthcare, financial services and government industries”.

The agreement’s announcement comes soon after the news that Crossmatch’s team will be advancing to the finals of IARPA’s N2N Fingerprint Challenge, lending extra prestige to the company with respect to its expertise in biometric technology in general.
