A UK-based online retailer of health foods has adapted biometric time and attendance tracking from Bodet.
Called Buy Whole Foods Online, the company was founded in a garden shed in 2007 and has seen significant growth over the years, with a staff that now totals 46. Until recently, the company relied on traditional time sheets in a process that was “very time consuming” and “of limited accuracy”, according to Production & Packaging Manager Ashley Woodall.
Now, the company is using Bodet’s X4 biometric time clock, allowing employees to clock in and out via fingerprint scan while automating the administrative process of time tracking. Commenting on the system in a statement, Woodall asserts that “it saves a lot of routine work for the HR staff,” and that “[t]he workforce have readily embraced it,” among other benefits.
The deployment’s announcement comes soon after Bodet revealed that it had brought its fingerprint-based time and attendance technology to Battersea Place, a luxury retirement community in London.
