Continuing its big promotional push of its various technologies, NEC has teamed up with Technovation Solutions, a Las Vegas-based company specializing in marketing technological products. A number of NEC’s solutions will be showcased in Technovation Solutions’ Technovation Center, including NeoFace Welcome, NeoFace Watch, and NeoFace Video Analytics, all of which are based on NEC’s facial recognition technology.
In a statement announcing the partnership, Technovation Solutions CEO Peg McGregor called NEC “a global leader in hospitality and a number of other markets” and said that “its Smart Enterprise approach brings a unique benefit to the hospitality market to engage guests, increase revenue and improve operations.” As such, it’s a good fit for Technovation Solutions, given that the company is “based in a major hospitality and resort city”. NEC VP Larry Levenberg concurred, noting that the Technovation Center “offers a unique ‘user environment’ allowing clients to see, feel, touch and experience technology.”
It’s part of a larger effort on NEC’s part to raise the market profile of its sophisticated solutions, with the company having announced plans to showcase its facial recognition technology at the National Retail Federation’s Big Show expo and at the inaugural Singapore FinTech Festival over the past week.
