NEC will showcase its technologies and deliver multiple presentations at the upcoming Enterprise Connect 2017 conference. The company has announced that its activities will revolve around the theme of “Delivering on the Smart Enterprise”.
Among the solutions to be showcased by the company are its Virtual Receptionist system, which uses the company’s NeoFace Welcome facial biometrics technology to recognize and greet registered individuals by name, and to offer targeted information based on age and gender identification. The company will also show off its Software-Defined Networking solution, which it says now features “UC, biometrics, AI and workflow applications,” according to a statement from the company; and its UT880 smart terminal solution, which offers features like biometric access control and video surveillance scanning.
The company’s speaking engagements will include multiple Breakout Sessions such as What Can IoT Do for Me (and to Me)?, featuring NEC IoT Solutions Product Lead Aravind Parandhaman, and the General Session What Role (If Any) Should Cloud Communications Play in Your Enterprise?
The Enterprise Connect 2017 conference will be held at Gaylord Palms in Florida from March 27th to March 30th. NEC is a Gold Sponsor of the event, which it describes as “one of the leading conference and exposition events focused on communications, collaboration and more.”
