This year’s Mobile World Congress is right around the corner, and Morpho (Safran) will be on hand with a range of innovative offerings under the umbrella motto of “Enjoying life in a connected world.”
In keeping with its strengthened focus on the mobile space, a number of its products to be showcased revolve around mobile tech. In the area of mPayments, Morpho will showcase biometric contactless payment via MorphoWave, alongside related innovations in FIDO certified facial recognition, which has been integrated into the GSMA Mobile Connect identity solution. Moreover, in a statement the company has also promised “a live demo of deployments in India with Aadhaar,” possibly referring to its onboarding program for MNO Airtel. The company will also discuss SIM provisioning for the Internet of Things, and secure low-power connectivity solutions using embedded Secure Elements.
Mobile World Congress will also see high-level participation from Morpho executives, with Government Identity Solutions Divison EVP Jessica Westerouen van Meeteren scheduled to participate in the Digital Identity for Connected Societies session, and Morpho CEO Anne Bouverot delivering a keynote speech entitled, “Mobile is Securing the Digital ID”.
It’s a fittingly comprehensive showing at MWC 2016, given Morpho’s growing presence in the mobile sector, and one that is sure to make a major impression.
