Biometric security screening solutions provider CLEAR is celebrating another major stadium deployment. Marlins Park, the home turf of the Miami Marlins, now has Marlins CLEAR Lanes enabling express entry to the stadium.
After an initial enrollment, ticket holders who take advantage of the system will be able to enter the stadium by scanning their fingers at the Marlins CLEAR Lanes. And those who have already enrolled for the CLEAR systems at Miami International Airport or the Miami HEAT/American Airlines Arena are already eligible to take advantage of the service without any additional enrollment.
For the Marlins management team, the biometric express entry is a means of improving the fan experience. Commenting in a statement announcing the system, Marlins Operations and Events EVP Claude Delorme said the “Marlins CLEAR Lanes will significantly reduce the time going through security and into the ballpark,” adding that “season ticket holders and partial season ticket holders can rest assured they’ll have a secure – and fast – experience getting into the game.”
For CLEAR, meanwhile, it’s another high-profile stadium deployment, complementing similar implementations of CLEAR’s biometric technology at Yankee Stadium and Coors Field last year. As the company seeks to expand its deployments in other applications, these major league sports deployments should help to boost its brand and credibility in general.
