Iris ID is going to showcase its IrisAccess biometric authentication platform at next week’s Intersec 2017 conference, the company has announced.
The company’s IrisAccess product line has been around for years, and Iris ID says its platform is now “the world’s most deployed iris recognition system being used for border control, national identification, access control and time-and-attendance applications,” according to a statement from the company. The platform includes Iris ID’s iCAM7000 solution, an iris scanner that can scan its subjects from up to 14 inches away, and which was recently deployed by a gym chain in Iceland.
Commenting on the solutions, Iris ID VP Mohammed Murad asserted that they arrive in a market in which dropping costs “have made iris-enabled access control and identity authentication a practical choice for organizations of almost any size,” and said that Iris ID’s solutions “are fast and accurate with virtually no false rejections.”
Intersec 2017 will take place in Dubai from January 22nd to 24th. Iris ID will be occupying Stand J44, Hall S1.
