On Friday, Iris ID announced two new partners in integration. Both SekureID Corp and DAQ Electronics have joined the Iris ID certified partner program and will have their respective integrated biometric solutions on display at this week’s ISC West conference and exhibition.
(Important note for exhibition goers: the solutions described below appear at separate locations at the exhibition floor. The SekureID time management solution will be at the IrisID booth #17115, while the DAQ security offering will be at booth #15137.)
Both companies will be integrating Iris ID’s IrisAccess technology into their solutions. In the case of SekureID’s workforce management products the iCAM7101 will be offering iris based biometrics that can boast enrollment and verification speeds of under one second.
“The IrisAccess 7100 series is designed to meet the increased market demand for iris-based biometrics time and attendance applications,” says Mohammed Murad, vice president of sales at Iris ID. “Iris recognition provides unrivaled speed, accuracy, and value in today’s demanding biometric time and attendance market. We are committed to set the industry standard for iris recognition technology.”
Adding to this, SekureID’s CEO and founder Mark Quintero comments, “ We feel the iCAM7101 will allow us to capture enterprise level clients looking to implement reliable, contactless biometric authentication into their workforce management solutions.”
DAQ electronics, meanwhile will be incorporating IrisAccess 7000 technology into its StarWatch SMS integrated security management solution.
StarWatch SMS was designed with versatility in mind, particularly in the area of integration. Not only can StarWatch work with legacy systems, it is also open to incorporating next generation security technologies, which is why Iris ID’s biometrics are a nice fit here.
President of Iris ID, Charles Koo, explains: “We look forward to our relationship with DAQ and are very pleased that our devices are a part of their integrated solution. Our field-proven IrisAccess systems are the worlds most advanced and widely deployed iris recognition platform. The IrisAccess 7000 series is designed to meet the increased market demand for iris based biometrics. Iris recognition provides unrivaled speed, accuracy, and value in today’s demanding biometric identification market. We are committed to set the industry standard for iris recognition technology.”
Just last week, findBIOMETRICS president Peter O’Neill had a chance to speak with Mohammed Murad about what Iris ID will be bringing to ISC West. Be sure to give the interview a read in order to get fully up to speed on the place of iris biometrics in physical access control.
