Inference Solutions has announced the integration of ArmorVox Voice Biometrics into its Inference Studio platform. This means that Inference clients can now able to implement fast and easy voice biometric authentication into their applications.
Inference Solutions is an integrated voice response (IVR) and call automation solutions provider whose Inference Studio platform allows clients to build their own voice-based applications in the cloud. The company has teamed with Auraya Systems to integrate that company’s ArmorVox technology to allow for better security and user authentication. ArmorVox’s comprehensive voice identification system has been deployed across Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany, and has almost reached two million enrolments.
Voice-based software interaction is increasingly prevalent in the digital age and looks set to expand more rapidly as the Internet of Things takes shape, finding its way into various everyday devices around the home, work, and even in smart cars. While voice authentication has thus far proven popular mostly in the financial services sector, it seems likely that as more and more connected devices integrate IVR systems, biometric authentication technology like that offered by ArmorVox will be more and more in demand.
