Imprivata is showcasing its biometric identification solutions at this week’s Cerner Health Conference.
The company’s Confirm ID EPCS platform has been integrated into Cerner Millennium, the healthcare technology company’s IT platform. Confirm ID enables fingerprint-based login for healthcare professionals, helping to ensure that patient data and prescription information is protected; and in a statement announcing Imprivata’s showing at this week’s Cerner conference, Imprivata Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sean Kelly emphasized its utility in helping healthcare providers “to access, communicate and transact patient health information through workflows such as prescribing, administering and wasting medications.”
Imprivata will also use the opportunity of the Cerner Health Conference to show off other solutions including Imprivata OneSign, Imprivata Cortext, and Imprivata PatientSecure, its patient identification system based on palm vein biometrics.
The Cerner Health Conference runs from November 14th to 17th in Kansas City.
