ImageWare has issued its corporate update for Q4 and the year-end of 2016.
For the quarter, there was little change in comparison to Q4 of 2015. Revenues for both periods came in at $0.9 million each, and the net loss went from $2.6 million in Q4 2016 to $2.7 million in the most recent quarter.
In a statement announcing the results, ImageWare highlighted partnership agreements established during Q4 with Avatier and SAP, and a partnership expansion with Fujitsu, with ImageWare CEO Jim Miller asserting that engagement with strategic partners is “a course of action we still view as imperative to our business model and overall long-term success.” Miller added, “our business strategy relies on long-term engagements, often with very large organizations, that have continued to take more time than expected to materialize from a revenue perspective.”
Looking to the year ahead, Miller said the company will maintain this focus in the belief that these partnerships “will yield consistent revenue as demand for higher levels of security and biometrics continues to strengthen.”
