“The integration once again comes by way of sensor maker and strategic partner Fingerprint Cards (FPC), whose FPC1025 sensor has been integrated into the Honor 5X.”
Precise Biometrics has seen yet another major smartphone integration of its Precise BioMatch Mobile algorithm software. The technology has found its way into Huawei’s new Honor 5X device.
The integration once again comes by way of sensor maker and strategic partner Fingerprint Cards (FPC), whose FPC1025 sensor has been integrated into the Honor 5X. According to GSM Arena, the sensor can be used to unlock the smartphone in a mere 0.4 seconds – a credit to both companies’ technology.
Huawei is a repeat customer, having previously integrated the same sensor into its MaiMang 4 smartphone. Precise Biometrics’ technology has also found its way into other smartphones from the company via different FPC sensor models.
Smartphone integrations play an important role in Precise Biometrics’ overall business operations. As that particular market continues its boom the company can expect many more such integrations going forward.
