Green Bit is taking advantage of next week’s connect:ID expo in Washington to show off the latest product in its DactyScan line, the company has announced. Called the DactyScan84t, it’s a ten-print scanner boasting of fast speeds and reliable hardware.
It’s a USB 3.0 compliant device can perform a four-finger scan in under 1.2 seconds, and can scan a rolled fingerprint in less than half a second, according to Green Bit. It also sports a compact form factor allowing for small-scale integrations in applications such as ABC kiosks, and Green Bit plans to attain FBI EBTS/F, USB-IF, and IP54 certifications for the device.
The connect:ID expo will take place from March 14th to 16th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, with Green Bit exhibiting in booth 515, where it will showcase the new solution. The company aims to bring DactyScan84t to market in September, with mass production planned for the fourth quarter.
