A Fujitsu subsidiary is bringing ImageWare technology to its platform.
Called RunMyProcess, it’s an innovation arm of Fujitsu offering a cloud-based development platform for enterprise apps. And it’s now struck a deal with ImageWare to bring the latter’s multi-modal biometric identity management platform, GoVerifyID, to its clients.
The aim is essentially to give clients working on the RunMyProcess platform ready access to a turnkey biometric authentication solution. As RunMyProcess CEO Dr. Yuji Takada explains in a statement announcing the integration, the “partnership with ImageWare enables us to make it easy for our customers to integrate the most secure, flexible, and scalable biometric authentication solution in the market.”
It’s a propitious partnership for ImageWare as the company seeks to shift into a high growth phase, having recently appointed a growth-focused tech veteran to its board of directors, and entered into preparations for the launch of its platform on Amazon Web Services. Commenting on the partnership, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller asserted that RunMyProcess serves “hundreds of leading companies in over 45 countries,” adding, “We’re excited to provide our industry leading solutions to this ecosystem and look forward to delivering our patented, multi-modal biometric authentication solution to RunMyProcess customers.”
