G4S Canada has partnered with Zwipe to offer its customers Zwipe Access, the latter’s biometric card reader solution for access control.
In a statement announcing the integration of Zwipe Access into the G4S portfolio, G4S Chief Business Development Officer Tim Saunders emphasized the ease of integration with Zwipe Access, since the solution operates independent of any databases, with biometric data stored on the Zwipe Access cards. Saunders asserted that with Zwipe’s solution there is “no need to change existing infrastructure”, allowing for a “quick and easy deployment”, adding, “they do make biometrics easy!”
G4S is one of the biggest security firms in the world, and claims to be Canada’s leading security solutions firm. As such, its Canadian division’s embrace of Zwipe Access points to growing enthusiasm for biometric security solutions.
News of the collaboration comes soon after Zwipe’s announcement earlier this month that Chatsworth Products, a security solutions provider for IT infrastructure, was integrating Zwipe Access into its solutions portfolio as well.
