“…Jumio noted that it doubled its sales in the first half of the year, and that its Netverify platform is now being used to verify almost 200,000 users each day.”
Frost & Sullivan has named Jumio the 2017 North American Entrepreneurial Company of the Year for the Biometric Security Solutions Industry.
Detailing the company in an award profile, Frost & Sullivan lauded it for its Netverify Trusted Identity as a Service platform, which combines document reading and facial recognition, as well as liveness detection, into a software package that enables the verification of end users through mobile devices and computers. Frost & Sullivan’s report called Netverify an “easy-to-install and user-friendly” platform, and emphasized that the platform can be deployed without the need for specialized hardware, “facilitating cost savings.”
Frost & Sullivan also asserted that integrating Netverify into an application can be done in only half an hour, and noted that one Netverify client, WorldRemit, “recorded a 75% reduction in drop-off of online applications for account opening.”
Acknowledging the award in a statement, Jumio noted that it doubled its sales in the first half of the year, and that its Netverify platform is now being used to verify almost 200,000 users each day. The award announcement also comes after Jumio reported an 87 percent year-over-year increase in sales for Q2.
