Fingerprint Cards has announced that for the fourth year in a row, it will participate in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) conference and exhibition.
FPC will be in the Fira Gran Via hall, and will highlight its solutions from booth 1B42. Among those solutions will be “market leading smartphone products, the latest smartcard trends and the company’s security solutions based on internet of things,” according to a statement from the company.
Elaborating on the company’s aim in returning to the event, FPC CEO Christian Fredrikson said “we are as usual there to meet our current and potential customers, partners, suppliers, investors and media,” in addition to showing off the company’s solutions.
FPC will likely see no difficulty in attracting attention at the event. Already well-established as a leading sensor supplier in the mobile biometrics market, the company recently announced its acquisition of iris recognition specialist Delta ID, signalling a substantial expansion in the overall biometrics market.
