FIME has opened a new office in Shenzhen.
The company offers solutions across the payments, telecommunications, transit, and e-identity sectors. Looking to the needs of its domestic partners in Shenzhen, FIME says it’s already working with customers on “advanced digital payments products and services, using emerging technologies including cloud-based solutions, eUICC and M2M,” according to a statement from the company. FIME’s Country Manager for China, Leo Jiang, added that FIME’s experts are working with customers “to improve and expand their own schemes, while aligning with international standards to increase their global presence.”
Commenting further on the new China office, FIME CEO Lionel Grosclaude said, “FIME has been working with Chinese vendors for a number of years and, with the demand for our support growing rapidly, it is the right time to give customers even easier access to our international services.” Grosclaude added that “[d]igital payment and secure identity technologies have developed significantly in China over the last ten years, and the market is set to grow and diversify.” Indeed, other firms involved in these areas have increasingly turned their attention to the Chinese market, with Sweden-based Fingerprint Cards having recently announced that it had joined the China-focused Internet Finance Authentication Alliance.
FIME also has offices in the US, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Dubai, and France.
