Residents of the high-end rental property Dimension by Alta in Seattle are now enjoying the convenience and security of biometric access control care of EnterTech Systems. The company, Suprema’s official operating partner in North America and the UK, has installed its fingerprint scanners throughout the property, allowing residents to forget about their old fobs and smart cards.
The property managers, Wood Partners, see the fingerprint readers as a luxury feature. Speaking in a press release, a Wood Partners executive explained that with the installation of EnterTech’s fingerprint scanners, “Dimension truly lives up to the standards of a luxury high-rise residential complex – modern, clean lines and state-of-the-art technologies like biometric access make our residents’ daily lives organic and effortless.”
The system was installed in collaboration with TPS Technologies, Wood Partners’ technical contractor, and representatives from that company also expressed a high level of satisfaction with EnterTech Systems. TPS President Jason Fuller said EnterTech’s “model of collaboration and their willingness to help find outside-the-box solutions like connecting the Suprema biometric reader to the telephone entry system was of tremendous benefit.”
The deployment follows closely on the heels of another high-profile installation in which EnterTech’s access control technology was used to secure a medical marijuana facility in Leamington, Ontario. While biometric access control deployments are relatively rare in these sectors, EnterTech has demonstrated a commitment to breaking down adoption barriers using its accessible, user-friendly BioConnect system. More deployments – conventional and unconventional alike – are sure to follow.
