Easy Solutions Adopts Auraya, FacePhi Biometric Technologies

Security vendor Easy Solutions has partnered with two biometrics specialists to enhance its lineup of offerings for clients, the company has announced.

One is Auraya Systems, whose ArmorVox voice biometrics system will allow Easy Solutions clients to enable passphrase authentication via mobile app. The other partner is FacePhi, whose facial recognition-based authentication system—dubbed Selphi—has been deployed across 18 countries in both public and private sector applications, and netted the company runner-up status at the Temenos Community Forum Innovation Jam Final earlier this year. That system is also mobile-based, letting users authenticate via selfie.

The partnerships reflect a new and growing interest in biometric security on the part of Easy Solutions. In a statement, the company’s CEO Ricardo Villadiego said biometric technology offers a balance of “convenience and security,” adding, “biometric technologies are the next wave of strong, efficient authentication solutions.”
