Day Two of the inaugural K(NO)W Identity Conference is turning out to be a packed one.
The day started with a keynote address from Consult Hyperion Director of Innovation David Birch. Author of the forthcoming book Before Babylon, Before Bitcoin: From money we understand to money that understands us, Birch did not disappoint on the provocative titles front, with his K(NO)W address entitled “On the Internet, No One Knows You’re a Fridge Pretending to Be a Dog.”
That talk was followed by multiple panel discussions, including “The New Ideas in Access Control – Physical and Information Security in our Connected World”. The expert panel featured representatives from Princeton Identity, BioConnect, ImageWare, Acuity Market Intelligence, and FindBiometrics, whose President, Peter O’Neill, has been on hand to report live from K(NO)W in Washington, D.C. this week.
The day will close with the first ever K(NO)W Nodes Awards, which will be bestowed by organizers to recognize excellence in startups, individuals and identity innovations.
