“The solution was first announced early in 2016, with CMITech rolling it out in Europe through regional distributor UMANICK.”
CMITech plans to show off its most recent iris scanning solution at next week’s Intersec 2017 conference in Dubai, where the company will be occupying booth SA G37.
Called the EF-45, it’s a biometric terminal featuring a five-inch touchscreen that offers on-display guidance to help users position their faces for a scan. The system is able to process its iris matching on the device itself, helping to protect user data; and it’s available in one configuration meant of physical access control, and another meant for ID management.
The solution was first announced early in 2016, with CMITech rolling it out in Europe through regional distributor UMANICK. Now, the company will take the opportunity of Intersec 2017 to showcase EF-45 to the Middle Eastern market in collaboration with regional partner ScreenCheck.
Of course, Intersec 2017 will feature guests from around the world, and in a statement CMITech CEO Dr. JJ Chae called it “an excellent venue for demonstrating our EF-45 system to a global audience of access control and other security experts, integrators and end customers.”
