This past week at FindBiometrics we took a look back on 2014’s most informative news items in our featured articles section while identity management history continued to be built. News ranging from successes in consortia, to the biometric border control and even some talk about the Internet of Things kept the industry discussions strong as we quickly approach year’s end.
Here are the big stories of the week:
Standards
This week, the FIDO Alliance published the final 1.0 drafts of its UAF and U2F specifications for strong online authentication. Nok Nok Labs, a founding Alliance member, made a statement in support and also updated us on an impressive series C round of funding.
Meanwhile, Fujitsu scored Lenel Certification for its Palm Entry readers, which use vascular biometrics for physical access.
