Big Expectations for Biometrics at Money20/20 Europe

This year’s Money20/20 Europe conference is shaping up to be a big one, and FindBiometrics will be on hand to assess the latest and most important trends and innovations.

Taking place next month in Copenhagen, the event will see over 3,000 attendees, with about a thousand companies from 75 countries participating. Money20/20’s organizers say that 78 percent of attendees say they participate to ‘meet new people and companies’, while 66 percent say they aim to ‘learn about innovation’ and 52 percent want to ‘source new products and ideas’.

That all bodes well for participating biometrics companies. The technology was a big hit at last autumn’s Money20/20 event in Las Vegas, with a huge crowd attending the “Biometric Identity & its Applications in Financial Services & Payments” panel moderated by FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill. And O’Neill will once again moderate a panel at Money20/20 in Copenhagen, alongside Daon EMEA and AsiaPac President Clive Bourke, BehavioSec CEO Dr. Neil Costigan, and Agnitiio CEO Emilio Martinez.

If the excitement over last fall’s event is any indication, this will be a panel – not to mention a conference – not to be missed.
