Florida-based Bio-Metrica has launched its Biometric Identification System (BIS).
Announced last autumn, BIS is a platform designed to offer the enterprise sector a scalable, multimodal biometric identification system. It supports facial, fingerprint, vascular, and iris recognition, and can be used with devices ranging from PCs to mobile products. It’s based on the Biometric Identification Infrastructure that Bio-Metrica launched in the summer of 2015, and is available via a cloud-based service called CloudBII.
As Bio-Metrica founder Ronen Yacobi explains in a statement announcing BIS’s launch, the platform “gives organizations of any size the ability to implement a modular, customizable, and scalable, Multi-Biometric Identification System.”
Bio-Metrica says the platform is compliant with ANSI, ICAO, and ISO standards, and it’s available now for a two-week free trial.
