Aratek is extending its roadshow beyond North America, announcing plans to showcase its Marshall device at major upcoming industry events in the UK and Africa.
Announced earlier this year, Aratek’s Marshall is a handheld device compatible with FBI-certified FAP 20, FAP 30, and FAP 45 fingerprint scanners. The company showcased Marshall at Connect:ID in Washington a month ago, and at Expo Securidad in Mexico soon after that. Now, it’s poised to bring it overseas.
The next stop is the SDW identity solutions trade show in the UK, which runs from June 11th to 13th. And soon after that will be ID4Africa, slated to run from June 18th to 20th in Johannesburg. Aratek representatives will be present at both events to showcase the Marshall solution as well as Aratek’s other terminals, scanners, and modules.
Commenting in a statement, Aratek’s international sales VP, Samuel Wu, emphasized the government applications of the Marshall device, asserting that the idea of being able to identity individuals anywhere has long been “the holy grail of government identity.” The Marshall device “just made this a reality by integrating registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module which can be deployed practically anywhere,” Wu said.
