Aratek will be showcasing its newly launched “identify-anywhere” fingerprint scanner solution at a pair of North American trade shows in the next few weeks. Dubbed Marshall, the portable device can be integrated with FBI-certified FAP20, FAP30, or FAP 45 scanners and comes with a built in printer for maximum flexibility and utility in the field.
“Marshall is designed to integrate registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module which can be deployed practically anywhere,” said Aratek Sales VP Samuel Wu.
“We are excited to show the North American market how Aratek’s recent innovations are shaking up the global biometric identification industry.”
Marshall is one of several portable fingerprint solutions to emerge in recent months, with offerings from IDEMIA and Crossmatch recently hitting the market. According to Aratek, the Marshall’s portability makes it ideal for activities like voter authentication and the census, which take place at pop-up sites or in the field rather than in one centralized location.
Marshall will be on display from April 29-May 1 at Connect:ID Booth 210 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre in Washington DC. Aratek will then be headed to Mexico City, where it will be presenting from Booth 1235 at the Expo Seguridad from May 7-9.
