A new client is integrating BioID’s online biometric authentication system into a unique platform.
Called “any2any”, the platform is designed to offer custom-branded ’employee experiences’ in flexible workplaces, allowing client companies to offer intuitive digital work experiences to staff, even in remote locations. Now, thanks to BioID’s facial recognition technology, the company will offer clients the ability to let employees easily and securely access their work assets through the “any2any” platform.
In a statement announcing the collaboration, “any2any” CEO Allan Chester explained that “[s]ecurity and authentication of physical and digital assets is still critical, but companies have to design work experiences that are easy and intuitive for their people.” That being the case, “[b]iometric recognition is a key technology for us to unite the security and experience needs of today’s employees,” Chester said.
The companies say that their combined solution has already been deployed by one client — Austria-based ASMAG. The manufacturing machinery maker is using the “any2any” mobile platform for its employees along with BioID facial recognition as part of its “ongoing Industry 4.0 project,” with ASMAG CEO Johann Vielhaber attesting that the solution helps his company to protect their secret designs before they are delivered to customers.
